SUSTAINING THE ANNUAL MISSION

Georgia National Cemetery Advisory Council (GNCAC) is  dedicated to making Georgia National Cemetery the preeminent final resting place for military veterans, spouses and dependent children.

 

GNCAC depends on annual contributions to manage and fund Memorial Day activities, National Wreaths Across America Day, Vietnam Veteran Commemorations, along with other noteworthy events throughout the year. GNCAC also depends on donations to cover costs of periodic maintenance of shrubs, flowers, flag pole lighting and flag replacement, care of the signature entryway plaza, and the forty-foot, state-of-the-art Veterans Tribute Carillon Tower.

Operational costs are kept exceptionally low since GNCAC doesn't maintain a paid staff or permanent office space. The 100% volunteer team works remotely, and meetings are held at the cemetery administrative offices as needed. With less overhead, funds directly and substantially advance the cause.
