GEORGIA NATIONAL CEMETERY ADVISORY COUNCIL (GNCAC)
Our critical mission is to marshal a 100% volunteer staff to eternally honor our deceased veterans and their spouses at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA. Our critical council raises funds to support the cemetery director and staff in establishing programs and events not funded by the National Cemetery Association, which serves our veterans and their families. We also obtain the support of, and cooperation by, municipal, county, state and federal offices for council endeavors. All to enhance the sacred ground which is Georgia National Cemetery.
The National Cemetery Administration (NCA) and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) operate and manage Georgia National Cemetery. The Georgia National Cemetery Advisory Council (GNCAC) is a supportive entity for the cemetery, but it has no authority in the daily operations and decisions made by cemetery management. GNCAC plays an advisory role, and it receives no state or federal funding as a volunteer-run, 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. GNCAC raises funds to support community programs, projects, and events not funded by the NCA or VA.

Our objective is to support our troops and families through the dignity of a proper burial and resting place. In addition, we strive to educate future generations while honoring the past, saluting the present, and inspiring the future.
